1. Matcha Cupcakes With Matcha Buttercream

Ingredients:
- 2 egg whites
- 2 egg yolks
- 280 g flour
- 2½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 180 g butter
- 350 g sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 240 ml milk
- 2 tbsp matcha powder
- 115 g butter
- 180 g confectioner’s sugar
- 1 tbsp cream
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tbsp matcha powder
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions:
- Beat egg whites in a large bowl until soft peaks.
- Sift together matcha, flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
- In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add in vanilla and the 2 egg yolks, mix until combined.
- Add the dry ingredients and milk to the creamed mixture. Mix until just combined. Do not overmix. Fold in egg whites
- Pour the batter in a prepared muffin pan (either paper-lined or greased). Bake at 178C for 18-22 minutes. Check for doneness by inserting a toothpick through the center.
- To make the matcha buttercream, beat the butter in a large bowl until smooth and creamy.
- Add confectioners sugar, matcha, salt, and beat on low until incorporated. Then turn the speed to high. Add vanilla and cream or milk. Continue beating until fluffy.
- Allow cakes to cool before frosting and enjoy!
2. White Chocolate Matcha Cookies

Ingredients:
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp matcha powder
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 eggs room temperature
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 176 C.
- Heat your butter over medium heat until it turns a golden yellow color. Pour butter in a heat proof bowl to cool. As the butter cools, it will get darker in color.
- Combine flour, baking soda, salt, and matcha powder in a bowl. Mix well and set aside.
- Next add in white sugar and brown sugar to your butter and mix. Once well combined, add in your eggs and vanilla. Whisk until you get a light and creamy texture (~1 minute). This is how you get crisp and chewy cookies!
- Add in the dry ingredients from step 3 and mix well.
- Add in the white chocolate chips and mix again.
- Let the dough rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Use a tablespoon or an ice cream scoop to scoop cookie dough onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Cookies should be 2-3 inches apart.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes, let cool and enjoy!
3. Matcha Glazed Doughnuts

Oh boy. One is not going to be enough. These are going to fly off the plates. The glaze coupled with the spongy doughnut is so satisfying!
Ingredients:
Doughnuts:
- 1 ½ cups flour
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 ½ tbsp matcha green tea powder
- ¾ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp kosher salt
- 1 large egg
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- ¾ cup whole milk
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
Glaze:
- 1 large egg white
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tsp matcha green tea powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- Dash of vanilla extract
- 2–3 tbsp water, or as needed
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 176 C.
- Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl.
- In a small bowl, whisk together egg, sour cream, milk and vanilla. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and whisk until just combined. Stir in melted butter.
- Transfer ingredients to a piping bag and pipe into molds, filling ¾ of the way up. Bake for 10-14 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow to cool in the pan for 5 minutes, turn out onto a wire rack and allow to cool completely. Repeat with remaining batter.
- For the glaze, whisk together egg white through vanilla. Whisk in 1 tablespoon of water and continue to add 1 teaspoon of water at a time until you reach the desired consistency.
- When the doughnuts are completely cool, dip the top half into the glaze and return them to the rack until the glaze sets. Enjoy!
4. Matcha Mini Cheesecake

A fan of mini cheesecakes? Try the matcha twist on it. Savor on this as it is or you can add white chocolate dipped strawberries on top. Such aesthetic pleasure!
Ingredients:
- 170g Digestive Cookies (or any other cookie to use as the base)
- 40g butter
- 250g cream cheese
- ¼ cup caster sugar
- 125ml thicken cream
- ½ tsp matcha green tea powder
- 100g white chocolate, melted
- 1 ½ tsp gelatine
- ¼ cup boiled water
Instructions:
- Melt butter in the microwave for about 2-3 minutes.
- Blend the cookies.
- Add melted butter and mix well.
- Divide mixture evenly into moulds.
- Let it set in the fridge for half an hour.
- Blend cream cheese and sugar until it’s creamy.
- Mix some boiled water and gelatin until dissolved.
- Add gelatin to cream cheese mixture and mix until combined.
- Bring a pot of water to simmer to melt the chocolate. Melt the chocolate in a metal or glass bowl placed on top of a water pot.
- Once the chocolate is melted, fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
- Add the matcha powder and whisk until smooth and no lumps.
- Pour it into the moulds on top of the cookie base & refrigerate for 4 – 6 hours then enjoy!
5. Matcha Turtle Cookies

Ingredients:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup butter
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp matcha powder
Instructions:
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Stir in vanilla and matcha powder.
- Add flour and mix well.
- Take ¾ of the cookie dough and form into balls.
- Use a fork and gently press onto cookie dough diagonally left and right.
