There are thousands of butter cake recipes but this one works like a charm. This butter cake is so moist and it has a surprise inside which is raisin! I know not many people love raisin but i mean come on raisin is good in butter cake! Give it a chance to win your heart. If you don’t try it, how would you know it’s true potential. Moreover this butter cake recipe is really straight forward. With easy steps but excellent product outcome.
If you want to have an extra dairy flavour we would like to recommend to use unsalted butter. Unsalted butter tend to have more dairy flavour and aroma into it and it is perfect butter to be used in this butter cake recipe.
- 230 g Flour
- 20 g Milk Powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 180 g Sugar
- 250 g Golden Churn Butter
- 4 nos Egg
- 1/2 cup Fresh Cream
- 1/4 cup Raisin
- Sift flour, milk powder, salt and baking powder.
- Cream butter and sugar until pale.
- Add eggs one by one.
- Once the eggs are fully incorporated, add the dry ingredients and the milk.
- Mix until no Lump.
- Transfer it into a baking mold and bake in an 180c oven for 30 minutes.
