The sensational artiste Justin Bieber has decided to postpone his Justice World Tour, including the one in Malaysia, due to an illness. Bieber was also originally supposed to perform in Malaysia on 22nd October 2022.

The “Peaches” singer announced the news on his Instagram and Twitter accounts and has received many kinds of feedback from the Beliebers. He said he is taking a break from touring after months of revealing that he had been diagnosed with a syndrome called Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, which leads to partial facial paralysis.

“After resting and consulting with my doctors, family and team, I went to Europe in an effort to continue with the tour. I performed six live shows, but it took a real toll on me.” the singer shared.
“I performed at Rock in Rio and I gave everything I have to the people in Brazil. After getting off stage, the exhaustion overtook me and I realized that I need to make my health the priority right now.” Bieber added about how he realised that his health should be his priority.
“So I’m going to take a break from touring for the time being. I’m going to be ok, but I need time to rest and get better.”
“I’ve been so proud to bring this show and our message of Justice to the world.”
Ramsay Hunt Syndrome is a rare neurological disorder that occurs when a shingles outbreak takes a tool to the facial nerve near one of the ears. It also inflames and paralyses the facial nerve and causes a painful rash on your eardrum, ear canal and earlobe. Aside from facial paralysis, hearing loss in the affected ear can also occur.
Bieber was scheduled to perform at many global performances through March 2023, along with an Asian tour from October to November 2022. He has not given any estimated recovery timeline and whether or not the Justice tour would ever resume.

Despite the announcement, AEG Presents Asia, the organiser of the Justin Bieber Asia’s Justice World Tour, posted that the tour is still set to continue as scheduled.
The Instagram post:

“Beliebers in Asia, we are aware that @justinbieber has decided to take a break from touring and wish Justin a speedy recovery and admire his decision to put his health first.”
“We can’t wait to see him back on the road. Our understanding is the Asia leg of the tour is set to continue as scheduled. Stay tuned for more updates.”

The post has been receiving many kinds of feedback from the Beliebers and one left a comment saying that Bieber needs time to rest and should not force the singer to do the concert in his current health condition. The fan also added that they would rather have their money refunded. Another user asked whether or not the show is still on schedule.

One also mentioned that the Asia tour will not be resumed, as stated in the AEG Presents Asia statement. The user added that Bieber could not rest for less than a month and demanded clear information from the organiser as soon as possible.
