Ocean Pudding

This ocean pudding brings a beautiful dessert product to your table. Not only is it beautiful on its look, it is also very easy to make.

You can definitely use this for any private event, celebration or even just for tea time. It is meant to be served cold, so in the hot weather you get in Malaysia it is perfectly good for you to cool your body with this dessert.

Ingredients

  • 30 g Bloomed Chia Seed
  • 10 g Agar agar Powder
  • 50 g Chek Hup Diamond Rock Sugar
  • ½ can Lychee
  • 5 pcs Blue Pea Flower
  • 500 ml Water
  • 400 ml Milk
  • 35 g Chek Hup Diamond Rock Sugar
  • 10 g Agar agar Powder

Instructions

  • Place water, blue pea flower and Chek Hup Diamond Rock Sugar in a pot and let it simmer until sugar has melted.
  • Place lychee into a baking pan and pour over the jelly solution. Let it sit at room temperature for about 30mins.
  • Once set, gently put the bloomed chia seed covering the surface.
  • In another pot, place milk, Chek Hup Diamond Rock Sugar and agar agar powder and let it simmer until sugar has melted. Then gently pour into baking pan.
  • Let it set in the chiller for 1 hour.

Notes

Tips and guides:
  1. To avoid separation of the puddings, during the first chilling time, avoid chilling it in the chiller. Let it chill at room temperature.
  2. Do not use lychee water if you are using blue pea flowers because the colour will change from blue to purple.
