Yeap we all heard that saying, ‘breakfast is the most important meal of the day.’ However, it’s early in the morning and you’re in a hurry, plus now you gotta make breakfast? Oh god help. I understand, it can be a hassle. So I’m here to help! (I mean not physically but spiritually hahaha) I’ve got some recommended super quick and easy breakfast meals you can try! Now you will be able to enjoy something tasty and nutritious in a jiffy!

1. Crispy Banana Grilled Toast

Personally tried this, and now I’m addicted! Sugar and melted butter is brushed over the bananas that are layered on a toast spread with egg. Popped into the oven and they are ready to be ‘chowed’ down! You get your carbs from the bread, protein from the eggs, and fibre from the bananas! Tasty and healthy!

2. Strawberry Oatmeal Parfait

Parfaits for breakfast! Heck yea i’m in! The parfait is layers with fresh strawberries, oats, granola, and another layer of strawberries and blackberries. This meal is packed with fibre to keep you full for longer amounts of time!

You can opt to change the berries with other fruits such as:

  • Kiwis
  • Bananas
  • Raspberries
  • Blueberries
  • Raisins

3. Blueberry Protein Pancakes

Who doesn’t love pancakes for breakfast? These pancakes are made with blueberries and also protein powder. This helps you get your daily dose of protein, fibre and carbs in one juicy, moist bite. Be sure to add maple syrup or honey over them for added flavor!

4. Omelette in a Hole

Why have just regular bread, when you can make a hole in it with some eggs! Use some juicy bacon, crunchy bell peppers, calcium and protein rich cheese and eggs to make this scrumptious meal.

5. Nutella Pancake Bites

Pancakes + Nutella. Tell me what could be a better combo? Moreover, these pancakes are stuffed with the creamy, chocolatey Nutella that once you bite into, oh man, you’re going to feel so delightful! Topped with strawberries, maple syrup and powdered sugar, it’s a sweet way to start your morning.

6. Ham & Cheese Egg Cups

So simple, and yet packed with protein and so much flavor! Like the name suggests, you are going to use ham to layer a muffin tray, then sprinkle a generous amount of cheese and crack and egg in it. After you have added seasoning of your choice, you just pop it in the oven then enjoy it with some garnish.

Some choices of garnish may include:

  • Parsley
  • Basil
  • Rosemary

7. Strawberry Banana Nutella Crepe

Another decadent breakfast meal with Nutella. All you gotta do is prep the crepe then spread the Nutella. Then you can get creative with the toppings. In this recipe, bananas and strawberries were used. You can opt to include other fruits like kiwi too. Just make sure to slice them thinly, so it goes well with the thin crepe slices.

You can make it more fancy by adding powdered sugar or chocolate drizzle.

8. Cinnamon French Toast Sticks

Using bread creatively again. Here we add cinnamon to your regular french toast to elevate it’s taste. Plus cinnamon has many health benefits too, such as lowering your blood sugar levels and reducing heart diseases.

The vanilla essence makes the bread fragrant to give you a pleasant start to your morning.

9. Baked Banana Doughnuts

Worry no longer about feeling guilty when eating doughnuts. Instead of frying them, we baked these doughnuts that are primarily made of bananas! What’s awesome is, you can make a batch of these and keep it for 2 days. So you don’t have to worry about breakfast for a couple of days hehe.

10. Matcha Latte Chia Pudding

Alright if you prefer making breakfast the night before, this is a super duper easy recipe you can try. Using ingredients like milk, maple syrup, matcha powder and chia seeds, you just add it all together in a cute looking jar. Put it in the fridge overnight, then enjoy your pudding the next day. This recipe is carbs-free, extremely high in proteins and is generally a go-to for someone who is on a diet. You can also top the pudding with a sprinkle of matcha powder if you like before eating.
