Recipes Using Gardens Sauces Tomato

Hahaha! You are not going to believe us! that you can make a cake with KETCHUP! You really can! And there are other delicious recipes you can make using Gardens Sauces Tomato Ketchup too!

Ketchup Cake (Trendy)

Prep Time 20 mins
Cook Time 30 mins
Total Time 50 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 ½ tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • ½ cup Ground Tomato Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Red Food Colouring
  • 1 ½ cups Butter, softened, divided
  • 1 ½ cups Packed Dark Brown Sugar
  • 2 Egg
  • 250 g Cream Cheese
  • 100 g Condensed Milk
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients and mix it until it is smooth and no lumps.
  • Bake in the oven at 160°c for 30 minutes

Frosting

  • Beat the cream cheese with whipping cream until it becomes pale.
  • Add vinegar and condensed milk.
  • Beat until fluffy.
  • Front the cake.

Italiano Brunch

Prep Time 20 mins
Cook Time 30 mins
Total Time 50 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 Whole sheet of puff pastry
  • 4 tbsp Basil pesto
  • 4 tbsp Gardens Tomato Ketchup
  • 1 Whole heirloom tomato, thinly sliced
  • 2 ounces Crumbled goat cheese
  • 1 tbsp Freshly sliced basik

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 200°c. Place pastry on baking tray and carve a border around the edge with a knife. Score the inside of the pastry with fork. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Spread basil pesto on the pastry and top with slice tomatoes and crumbled goat cheese.
  • Bake 10-15 minutes or until cooked through. Top with fresh basil.

Rozzette

Ingredients

Crust

  • 180 g Plain Flour
  • 90 g Unsalted Butter
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 60 ml Water

Filling

  • 3 nos Tomatoes
  • 4 tbsp Gardens Tomato Ketchup
  • 4 tbsp Garlic Sauce
  • 3 nos Ricotta
  • Dried Parsley
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Olive Oil

Instructions

  • Process all ingredients until it forms a ball.
  • Set it aside and let it rest for 30 minutes.
  • Once rested, roll it.
  • Do not trim the sides, it is for aesthetic look.
  • Make a round dollop using Gardens Tomato Ketchup and garlic sauce. Top it off with the remaining ingredients

Lamb Gozleme

Ingredients

For The Gozleme Dough

  • 7 g Sachet fast-action dried yeast
  • 1 tsp Golden castor sugar
  • 250 g Plain flour
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil

For The Sause

  • 8 tbsp Gardens Tomato Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Very finely chopped red onions

For The Filling

  • Olive oil, plus extra to finish
  • Pack lamb mince
  • Garlic cloves, crushed
  • Greek spice
  • Zest lemon
  • Spring onions, finely sliced
  • Feta cheese

Instructions

Dough

  • Combine all ingredients and knead until it is smooth
  • Let it rest for 1 hour.
  • Deflate the dough, portion it and roll into few small disks.

Filling

  • Saute all ingredients except the feta cheese.
  • Let it cool a bit then begin to assemble.
  • Place one of the dough disk as a base and add the filling.
  • Crumble the feta cheese over it.
  • Close it with another piece of dough.
  • Clamp the edges and pan fry it.

Sauce

  • In a hot pan, combine all the ingredients and use it as a dipping!
