Top 9 Best Swimming Pools In KL & Selangor 2023

Do you enjoy spending time in a pool? Whether swimming, diving or floating, a pool is ideal for summer days. Swimming is a great way to spend some time and get your body moving. It’s also a great way to improve fitness and relax muscles. What’s more, swimming pools are often open year-round. Pools can be indoors or outdoors. Some are lap pools for professional swimmers, and others are family-friendly with kiddie slides and fountains. Depending on the pool you go for, you may need to have a membership to use a pool at a facility. Some require membership fees, while others are free for use.

No matter where you want to go for a swim, here are some tips for having fun and getting the most out of it. Find a swimsuit that flatters your body shape because it helps you feel confident and comfortable in the water when you’re wearing a suit you love! The right bathing suit can also help to keep you cool while you swim. Pack a snack and water. Dehydration can happen when you spend a lot of time in the pool. Be sure to bring water and snacks with you to help keep you hydrated and energised while you’re there! Here are the top 9 swimming pools in KL and Selangor.

Is it safe to swim in a swimming pool?

Yes, it is completely safe! Swimming pool water is chlorinated to kill bacteria and clean your swimming area, but some people are concerned about the chemicals in pool water. Chlorine reacts with the natural oils on your skin to form a substance called trichloramine, which can dry your face and eyes.

Trichloramine can also lead to dry skin and hair when you swim. That’s why it’s essential to keep your skin moisturised while you swim by using a natural body oil or lotion. A moisturising bath wash can also help prevent dry skin in the pool. You can also rinse off with water and apply moisturiser to your skin afterwards.

What are the benefits of swimming in a pool?

Swimming is a low-impact exercise that can help strengthen muscles and improve flexibility. Aquatic exercise also promotes weight loss and improves cardiovascular fitness. Due to the lower risk of injury, it’s an ideal activity for people with back, knee, or other joint problems.

It’s also been shown that swimming can reduce the symptoms of arthritis and help strengthen bones. Many people find that it relieves stress as well. You’ll burn more calories than swimming in a body of deeper water, which means you’ll lose weight swimming in the pool than in the ocean or other deep bodies of water.
