The Lian Hua San Ching Tien Temple is a Chinese temple located on a 1.5-acre site. This temple is also considered the largest Taoist temple in Southeast Asia. The temple was built in 2000 and completed after three years with a construction cost of RM10 million. In addition, its decorations and motifs, including the dragon and its “Three Pure Ones” statues, were imported from China.

The Petroleum Museum is located at Bukit Tenaga and was officially opened to the public on 20 May 2005 after Shell Malaysia and Petronas financed it. The museum showcases various exhibits relating to the history of the petroleum industry in Malaysia. The museum has earthquake simulators, oil rig models, and more. Whereas outside the museum building is the Grand Old Lady oil rig.

The Niah National Park has a size of 3,138 hectares of forest and limestone karst areas. In 1958, a discovery confirmed Niah as a site of major archaeological significance. Tom Harrison and his team unearthed a skull at the West Mouth of the Great Cave, estimated to be 40,000 years old. Apart from that, tools, cooking utensils and ornaments made of bone, stone or clay were also found. Therefore, making the park one of the world’s most important archaeological sites.

The Tua Pek Kong Temple is a Chinese temple next to the Miri Fish Market in Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia. It is the oldest temple in present-day Miri city. The temple was built because the local Chinese residents believed that evil spirits caused an ongoing epidemic. After the epidemic subsided following a ritual to defeat the evil spirits, the local Chinese residents constructed a temple near the river to revere Tua Pek Kong as a symbol of gratitude.
