The Masjid Jamek Sultan Ibrahim Muar started construction in 1925. Five years later, in 1930, the mosque was completed and was officially opened by Johor’s Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato Mustafa bin Jaafar. The mosque’s architecture is exquisite. It was designed with a classical western look accompanied by a blend of Middle Eastern elements. The entire building is painted predominantly white with splashes of dark blue and baby blue to add a dash of colour.

If you plan to visit the Nasuha Herbs & Spice Farm, a reservation is required to schedule tours of the farm for groups of 20 individuals and above. Muar Cultural Walk showcases the history of Muar. Most of the artwork is related to cultural and historical depictions of Malaysia and Johor Bahru. There is even an old-school cinema at Jalan Meriam which is at the end of this lane.
