Watching too many Korean dramas and admiring their food makes you really crave for some of your own. We can totally relate hahaha! So here are a list of some of the best Korean Restaurants we came across that you must try.

1. OISO

One of my absolute favourite Korean restaurants. I love the taste of their food. They focus on quality ingredients to bring out the best flavor. The portion is also generous. Bibimbap is warm, fresh and satisfying here.

The next time I came here, I ordered a Bibimbap again with Kimchi Jjigae (kimchi stew or soup). It was so flavorful! I couldn’t get enough!

The Tteokbokki (spicy rice cake) here also is so squishy and chewy. It has the perfect texture.

The environment is peaceful with lots of nature themed decorations.

We came here during a friend’s graduation celebration. It’s a cool place where you can have Korean BBQ and other dishes too. The portion was huge and food mouth-watering!

You can see how they have that traditional-like seating area where you seat on the floor with cushions and also the standard seating area. This gives a really nice vibe.

Bonjuk Lunch Box Cafe KL

This is an Authentic Korean Restaurant. They focus on healthy and delicious food. You can see that brown rice is served instead of white rice for both the rice dish set and the sushi. I came here again because the food is just super satisfying! The portion is great too at only around RM20.

Let me tell you why even I can’t resist this chicken. It is so succulent and juicy plus with the incredibly unique blend of flavours, it makes you go ‘umph’ with every bite.

The line is usually long and once you get in you have to wait for some time for it to be cooked too. But trust me, it is worth the wait. A little pricey but it’s because of the quality and special techniques used to make this chicken.

Now if you have not tried Mr. Dakgalbi, please go immediately. It’s a very interesting dish. As the name suggests, dak galbi is served here. It’s a famous Korean dish that is served by stir frying a mixture of ingredients; chicken, veg like cabbage, sweet potatoes, scallions and carbs such as rice, ramens or rice cakes.

They are all mixed with Gochujang or red chili paste that packed a savoury, spicy and slightly sweet taste. You can also add other ingredients like mushrooms or cheese (which is a common favourite amongst youngsters)

A beautiful spot for Korean BBQ. There is pork ribs, chicken, stews – you won’t be able to resist them!

It is on the pricey side, but the portion of the meat, AMAZING FLAVOR OF THE MEATand you being able to refill the seaweed soup makes up for it.
