From small food stalls to bakeries and restaurants, sometimes you can get a glimpse of this delectable dessert known as egg tarts. The smooth and creamy egg custard embraced by the flaky exterior or shortcrust is loved by many and is especially good during tea time.
Occasionally, maybe you just want to pack some and eat it on the go or you want to have some after a fulfilling meal so we have compiled a few places for you to visit depending on your craving.
1. Tong Kee Bakery
It started out as Tong Kee Brothers before becoming what people know as the TK Bakery and several outlets in Malaysia. This place offers both types of egg tarts that use puff pastry to create a flaky crust and another one with a harder shortcrust. Another advantage of this location is that it is a bakery so you can come over and get some other baked goods as well.
If you don’t feel like it’s convenient to visit their locations then you could try ordering from their Estore on the official website.
