Flying noodle or also known as floating noodle has been on the talk for awhile now. It is another version of fried noodles but with a super ‘wow’ look where you can possibly do it at home and impress your family with your cooking skills.

Fried Flying Noodle
Ingredients
- ½ pkt FATBOI Original Wheat Noodle
- 1 wok Cooking Oil (To fry the noodles separately)
- 3 tbsp Minced Garlic
- 2 pcs Fishcakes
- 5 pcs Crabsticks
- 4 pcs Green Leafy Vegetable
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp HACO Chicken Powder
- 5 tbsp LIFE Tomato Sauce
- 5 tbsp LIFE Chilli Sauce
- 1 tbsp Corn Flour
- 1 nos Egg
Instructions
- Cook FATBOI Original Wheat Noodle to al dante stage and boil vegetable then leave it aside.
- Roll it up with a bamboo chopstick and heat up a wok of cooking oil over medium heat.
- Use place the noodles with the chopsticks over the cooking oil, and use a ladle to pour cooking oil over the noodles until they are fried.
- Then leave it aside.
- On a saute pan, put a tbsp of cooking oil and saute minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add in sliced fishcakes, chicken meat and crabsticks until they are cook.
- Add about 300ml water and then add in chili sauce, tomato sauce, chicken powder and salt and let it simmer.
- Mix a little water with cornflour and pour it in. And cook till it has thicken and reduced slightly.
- Add in egg and continue to stir.
- Pour the gravy around the noodles with vegetable and serve.
Notes
Tips and guides:
1. You can opt out tomato and chili sauce and make it into regular soup based. Just boil water with anchovies or chicken or beef broth for the soup base.
2. For the noodles, it will be hard enough to hold its shape, but it will take some time. So make sure not to stop halfway.
3. If the bottom of the noodle turns into brown, lower down the fire and continue to fry the noodles. 💡 For fast, healthy and tasty soup base, try ‘NEW’ HACO Suiss Chicken stock (made from real chicken) or beef-flavoured stocks (suitable for vegetarians).
