Kunafeh recipe

You’re about to make your ‘belly dance’ with excitement after have a slice of the Kunafe.
It is topped with crushed healthy pistachios and syrup. Make it using the Firenzzi AirFryer with ease. Yes, just an air fryer!

Total Time 50 mins



  • 150 ml Honey Water
  • 1 stick Cinnamon
  • 80 g Brown Sugar
  • 50 ml Lemon Juice
  • 1 nos Lemon Peel


  • 200 g Kunafa Pastry
  • 150 g Melted Butter
  • 200 g Mozzarella
  • 100 g Parmesan
  • 200 g Pistachio


  • In a bowl mix all of the syrup ingredient together and let it soak for about 3 hours.
  • In another bowl mix kunafa pastry with butter and toss it until all pastry coated with the butter.
  • Transfer half of the pastry into 6 inch shallow baking pan.
  • Pat i ground pistachio and press it to make it compressed.

  • Add mozzarella as the next layer followed by parmesan.
  • Lastly add kunafa pastry on top and compress it again.
  • Bake the kunafa using airfryer for 30 minute using baking setting.
  • Once baked and golden brown. Pour in the syrup when it is piping hot. Serve it warm.
