You’re about to make your ‘belly dance’ with excitement after have a slice of the Kunafe.
It is topped with crushed healthy pistachios and syrup. Make it using the Firenzzi AirFryer with ease. Yes, just an air fryer!

Kunafeh
Ingredients
Syrup
- 150 ml Honey Water
- 1 stick Cinnamon
- 80 g Brown Sugar
- 50 ml Lemon Juice
- 1 nos Lemon Peel
Kunafa
- 200 g Kunafa Pastry
- 150 g Melted Butter
- 200 g Mozzarella
- 100 g Parmesan
- 200 g Pistachio
Instructions
- In a bowl mix all of the syrup ingredient together and let it soak for about 3 hours.
- In another bowl mix kunafa pastry with butter and toss it until all pastry coated with the butter.
- Transfer half of the pastry into 6 inch shallow baking pan.
- Pat i ground pistachio and press it to make it compressed.
- Add mozzarella as the next layer followed by parmesan.
- Lastly add kunafa pastry on top and compress it again.
- Bake the kunafa using airfryer for 30 minute using baking setting.
- Once baked and golden brown. Pour in the syrup when it is piping hot. Serve it warm.
