If you’re like me, a die hard lover of prawns – you should, no you MUST know this tip. It’s especially useful if you are a busy person who buys ingredients in a bundle and stores them in the refrigerator for long.
So how do you store your prawns longer? Simple add SALT. A generous amount of it. Once you have coated all the prawns with salt, you can place it in the fridge.
You will notice that the prawns are able to last longer and it is not soft or mushy. In fact it is still quite firm even after storing it for some time! This is thanks to the presence of the salt which acts as a natural preservative.
