Bak Kut Teh requires several hours of slow simmering and the end result is just too good to be true. This is best cooked in a clay pot and eaten with white rice, fried dough, steamed vegetables such as vegetables in oyster sauce, spicy sauce and a plate of chilli and garlic.

Cooking Method: 

Step 1 : Add 3L water in the 2 packs of ‘Samy Soup Spices Herb Pack’ (Do not open the herb pack) and wait until fully boiled.

Step 2:Put in 6 pieces of black garlic, 8 pieces of chinese mushroom, 2kg of meat, 1 – 1½ spoon of soy sauce, 3 spoon of light soy sauce, and boil it at high heat for around 15 minutes.

Step 3 : While changing it to medium heat, add some salt, and keep boiling for 1 hour and it’s ready to serve.
